Christmas?

I love YouTube. You can find the weirdest, craziest things. Including this strange little tidbit, complete with a bunch of guys singing The Twelve Days of Christmas in German while they get Julie Andrews tanked.

Not sure how interested anyone is in the real details ... but here they are. :-) I have this entire Christmas special on VHS somewhere in my collection. It was filmed in Salzburg in 1987 and was hosted by Julie with guests Placido Domingo, John Denver, and the King's Singers (the "guys" singing here). The special is called The Sound of Christmas. Not very original ... lol ...

Some interesting bits in this show ... like using the same rooms that were used as sets during the filming of The Sound of Music. The mirrored/gold ballroom is used in one song, as is the cathedral where the wedding takes place.

THANKS Venus! That's very cool info. I was really wondering what on earth it was about. I've always loved Julie Andrews. Thought it was weird there was a Christmas song without her doing the singing.
